Our first full day. We have settled into life here already. We established a great routine last year. While I get the coffee and tea on the go and make myself look less scary to the general public, Paul pops out to the local Boulangerie to pick up breakfast. Fresh brioche today.
We perused the maps etc. while breakfasting and decided on the day's program...not much. A cruisie day was just the ticket.
We walked a few minutes to the Market. It was great as per usual. I found it pretty exciting. Val knows just how much I love this sort of thing. The Adelaide Central is always one of our first things to do when visiting them...all that colour...all those smells... mmmm heaven. Our Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne is a delight too. However, I digress, got lost in my own 'moment' there sorry hehehehe. So we wondered around, me like a child in a sweet shop. We bought a little fillet roast, ultra fresh vegetables, salts and spices and we were all set for was what hopefully going to be a great meal in.
After that we grabbed the little blueberry and headed to Seguret , a little old place in the side of the hill. Amazing drive through some of the vineyards of the region. A view over Provence from the top of the village was stunning, sadly my photo of the vista between the houses doesn't do it justice.
We had a light lunch in Orange, a town famous for it's Roman Ruins and then back to relax in Avignon.
